Coach Schwab is the head coach for the University of Northern Iowa Panthers. Since the eviction of the old historic West Gym, Panthers have found themselves a new temporary home at USA Mat Club at Cedar Falls. The coach doesn’t shy away from sharing his wisdom of experience with his student wrestlers.

Talking to his wrestlers his message was strong and clear, be grateful for every opportunity you have, every single opportunity you get to shine, take it, be grateful for it. He told his students to not be afraid, he said that fear does not go well with gratitude. You cannot be grateful if you are afraid. So being grateful is one of the key ingredients of success.

Coach Schwab has a way of reaching his student wrestlers, he talks to them, and these motivational speeches reach their very core. He has been an influential figure in lifting the spirits of the wrestlers. Coach Schwab recently opened up to the students on mental health issues and motivated everyone to talk about it, to seek help.
