A popular athlete kid in competitions with Bryce James, Bo Bassett shines bright with eight Pennsylvania Junior Wrestling State Championship honors. His noteworthy performance at the U20 US Open Wrestling Championship under 65 kg category against Aden Valencia claimed his victory with a 5-2.

With over 1.24 million followers, Bo’s mention amongst big names in wrestling while surpassing Olympians like Aaron Brooks and Cael Sanderson is a credit to his thinking and his smartness for his future decisions reflected at this age. The idea was, however, not understood by many initially with several questions raised on his method. Tagging it as unlikable to rejecting his methods away from the traditional, harsh criticisms with mentions of his childhood appeared but received a great comeback by wrestling heads appreciating his intellect.

While social media criticism never ends, Bo Bassett without getting himself affected by this has been actively working for his college recruitment process through his own methods.

Bo Bassett’s search for the next has been in process. The youngster awaits a college that can provide him with culture, best-of-the-best training, and a place where he could feel at home. For him, “Making a decision is going to be one of the hardest things to do, and that is why I plan to take my time and see as much as I can. Once I pick it, I want it to be my home for a long time.”

Starting his list from 80 names, it now comes down to 13. The 2025 top prospect Marcus Blaze’s commitment to Penn State recently, however, comes as a bit of concern over his pending decision. With several college visits already done including Iowa and Michigan, the recent visit to Ohio State and Penn State has created his rumored choice of No.1 but the final decision awaits for now.
