The post carried the caption, “Thanks to the homie and World Champ @stevanandrijamicic and the @chicagogalaxywrestling for putting on a great clinic and helping grow wrestling in North County San Diego.” The world champion demonstrated certain wrestling moves and how to decide the best way to approach an opponent.
Stevan Micic delivered the lessons both visually and verbally along with a volunteer to ensure maximum absorption by the students. The young and aspiring future wrestlers patiently listened to Stevan Micic with undivided attention. The world champion utilized the same lessons to win the gold medal at Belgrade this year. Stevan Micic had to go through a tough campaign at the 2023 World Wrestling Championship in Belgrade. On his way to the top, he came across Zaur Uguev, the reigning Olympic champion who had previously bested him.
However, putting his new resolve and wrestling techniques forward, Micic beat the mighty 2x world champion wrestler. His resolve was tested in the semi-finals once again when he went against another previous opponent, Zelimkhan Abakarov.
