Recently, the “Magic Man” embarked on a candid discussion in the Wrestling Changed My Life podcast. David Taylor discussed his club as they start their new season. But, interestingly, he also expressed his fandom for the wrestling program of Campbell.

Campbell is a university in North Carolina where the wrestling program actively participates in the Southern Conference. Speaking on Campbell on the podcast, David Taylor added, “They were and they were really good on top. That was my biggest takeaway after there were these dudes they spent some time with. On top of that young kid that 157 thinks he just had another big win. I think he’s an Ohio kid. I can’t remember his name but he’s Scrappy so they’re doing a good job. Now, I’m a Campbell fan”. He also spoke about his club as they start their new season.
David Taylor was asked, “What are your thoughts on the current state of some of the wrestling things going on right now whether it’s College or your Club”. To this, he replied, “All good, was at my club last night…their season their official season just started so they’re starting their practices and just talking to them about that I started getting goosebumps because I know how much time they put into it and they’re excited they see season getting started whether they’re a freshman or they’re a senior.” With regular appearances on social media with his posts and talks, David recently made an achievement beyond the mats.

Taylor’s rising popularity beyond the Wrestling mat
United World Wrestling recently released a list on its Official Instagram handle. It featured the ten most followed freestyle wrestlers. Taylor was placed in the second position on the list. He boasts close to 600k followers on Instagram. Interestingly, the rivalry on the mats played up here as well.

David Taylor’s arch-rival Hassan Yazdani topped that list with a staggering 3.2 million followers.
