OSU won the Bedlam dual by 35-3 and the victory has indeed gained quite the attention from their head coach taking OSU to their 20th-winning streak. For David Taylor, the win, however, came as a big shock along with the special mention coming on the performance put up by OSU wrestler Reece Witcraft.

“Holy cow. It was another opportunity for Reece where things didn’t go his way and he just stayed the course and found a way. He could’ve stopped wrestling. He didn’t and he found a way to get himself in a good situation. It was big. Good momentum for us, a little deflating for the opposition. That’s wrestling. You wrestle till the whistle’s blown, and he was able to keep doing that.”

Having kept his resilience on the team and its wrestlers, David Taylor has been concerned about the overall team performance for a long time. The loss to Penn State was a wakeup call but the Las Vegas performance and now against Bedlam comes in awakening. David Taylor’s training and coaching this time have paved the way with an easy win coming out for the Cowboys wrestlers competing against the opponent with a major contribution coming from Reece Witcraft.

For the OSU Cowboys, the win against Bedlam in the dual would not have been possible if it had not been for their wrestler Reece Witcraft. Taking the lead quite ahead since the start the OSU were dominant and made the crowd wild giving strong competition to Oklahoma University. The fans in attendance at the McCasland Field House cheered the loudest for Cowboys game champion and wrestler Reece Witcraft.

With his 10-0 score put up for the team, Reece Witcraft took over the game under himself coming as the highlighting figure from the match with the head coach himself praising his emerging performance, posing a crucial win for the team. Stating on his performance post-match Reece states, “I got to my back and said, this ain’t good. I got on my head and I tried to sprint out. Just kept fighting.

Besides Witcraft, OSU wrestlers like 157-pound Caleb Fish with a 6-0 win, 165 pounds Cameron Amine, and Dustin Plott at 184 pounds. OSU heavyweight wrestler Wyatt Hendrickson’s performance also added a major win at the end taking crucial bonus points for the team. The team’s overall performance, however, made it to the victory before the last eight rounds. With such winning streaks, David Taylor’s Cowboys comes as one of the successful wrestling teams of youngsters carrying great dominance as much as him with the straight motive to give impressive wins every time they come to compete on mat.
