Steveson has posted a video on Instagram that shows a training session with mixed martial arts coach Jon Jones. Caption? He captioned the post that reads, “Looking back on this. Pretty cool 🙏🏽.” The post again ignited rumors of him joining UFC, because Jon Jones was the one who motivated Gable Steveson to join MMA. What does he have to say about his career?
Steveson compared the toughest sports among WWE, NFL, and wrestling. According to him, “Wrestling is the toughest.” Indeed, it is one of the toughest games, as it requires physical and mental fortitude. His return is beneficial for the Minnesota team and has been on the brighter side after his first win post-return. During an interview with FloWrestling, Eggum also revealed his off-wrestling adventure; he stated, “I think it could be good training for him if he decides to go a different path, meaning MMA.” What about Steveson’s future?

Talking about his future, Eggum said, “From my end, I talked to him and said, ‘I’d love to see him wrestle for the U.S. and win a couple more World titles and maybe another Olympic title.” Personally, Eggum has no problem with Steveson’s aspirations in another sport.
