Jake Paul had embraced his defeat of Tommy Fury in February last year. In a later discussion, the 27-year-old boxer explained how the loss against Fury had made him go back to the basics of the sport. So that early evaluation of those deafening points helped him to come out stronger. That message of coming back to strength was so viable that riding on that, Jake Paul defeated Nate Diaz in the latter part of 2023. But the tag of being “The problem child” is meant to stick to his name. In the new year, someone made a new allegation against the boxer and it became public.

But this time, he found a voice of NCAA wrestling homebody in his support. That might heal the Ohio native as he’s already planning a comeback this season

With NCAA wrestling, Jake Paul never has had the faintest connection. But for a sporting fame like him, the number of supporters leaves no place vacant. The epitome of it surfaced recently when Logan Paul-sibling faced a charge of taking banned substances. The X-handle, DramaAlert posted a visual of Jake from one of his videos where acne was visible on his face. Conceding more on the situation, that post added, “JAKE PAUL CAUGHT ON STEROID? People thinks so due to recent acne photo.” That post alerted Jimmy Overhiser, the assistant coach of the Tarleton Stae University wrestling program on X. In fermenting his backing for the boxer, Overhiser penned, “Hilarious watching the general public debate this. Every wrestler knows what’s going on”

Keeping a wrestling background, the former Cornell attendee took the acne as normal for the boxer. Moreover, the support came at the moment when Jake Paul already had his next fight scheduled on the calendar. In March, Ryan Bourland will fight against him. Eventually, a VADA test is already on the card before that. But for El Gallo de Dorado, the doping allegation is not new.

The doping allegation before the big fight

Jake Paul’s last two matches in 2023 also evoked the same doping allegation against him. However, in both those situations, he had gone through the strict tests under VADA and USADA. Before the match against Nate Diaz, the allegation had loomed more than ever as both the boxers had faced the allegation. But Jake Paul had taken his guard against the attacks faced by social media.
