Yes, following Bo Bassett’s footsteps, it is none other than his younger brother. Keegan Bassett is another wrestler in the Bassett family. And someone who has joined the same high school team as his elder brother. Coming in as his younger brother, a recent dual appearance saw Keegan getting appreciated by his elder brother and wrestling star Bo Bassett.

Bo Bassett’s message for brother

For elder brother Bo Bassett and Bishop McCourt junior, Keegan Bassett, entering the same team last season has shown quite the credibility and hard work to emerge out in his professional career. His recent team dual against Wyoming saw him under big support coming from none other than his big brother.

As a proud brother, Bo comes out with a heartfelt message and goes on to express his feelings on his brother’s progress, reflected in his performances under Bishop McCourt. Soon after his brother’s dual match, the junior wrestler took to his social media with an appreciation post featuring a moment shared between the two from the match. The major focus, however, came over Keegan’s hard work to perform as a 107-pound wrestler, as seen in the match itself.

Bo is one of the best high school wrestlers in the country. And he already has a world championship to show for it. That too, being just a junior at Bishop McCourt. He has a great fan following on social media, and his prominence is coming in as a highlight. His younger brother, on the other hand, is emerging in his career as a freshman wrestler this new season.

Keegan Bassett follows in his brother’s footsteps

The freshman has joined hands with the Bishop McCourt wrestling program as a 107-pound wrestler. While it comes to his skills and performances, Keegan Bassett becoming a wrestler, now gets added to the legacy of his big brother Bo Bassett, who is already a reputed name as a top 2026 college prospect.

While his brother has been gaining prominence, Keegan’s recent performance saw him in the major spotlight. The January 8 dual match saw Bishop McCourt wrestlers going against Wyoming Seminary, a top-ranked team. Representing the team, No. 12 Keegan Bassett’s takedown against Wyoming Wyatt Stauffer saw him give an unexpected headlock after attacking him on the ground with a counter-hip throw.

It was this moment that took Keegan’s career into prominence, with Flo Wrestling commenting on his impressive takedown. Not only that, but this particular takedown moment also captured Bo Bassett’s attention, soon after which he gave out his appreciation post on social media.
