That’s right, Bishop McCort, Bo’s school is all set to face off against #4 ranked Wyoming Seminary in perhaps one of the most talked about duals of this season. And the stakes? Bishop McCort’s lineup for the upcoming duals says it all.

Bishop McCort is coming in with their arsenal locked and loaded. Being ranked #2 in the nation, Bishop McCort has had their eyes set on the coveted top spot for quite some time. And this time, they have just the roster for comfortably hitting that # 1! They are coming in with six nationally ranked wrestlers on their roster, and of them, three stand at #1. And of course, leading the charge and the buzz is none other than the wrestling world’s favorite Bo Bassett. But he is not alone!

Two other #1 wrestlers, i.e., Jax Forrest and Melvin Miller join Bo. So what do the upcoming matches look like? Let’s start with Bo, who is all set to go up against Wyoming Seminary’s Mathew Dimen. Will he secure a pin for his team with yet another display of technical mastery? If history is testimony, then the answer is yes. Additionally, winning here also means that it could put Bishop McCort in a favorable position to finally hit that #1 spot. But that’s not the only match that will decide who takes the coveted position!

There are some other big names on the Bishop McCort roster. Jax Forrest, who much like Bo is ranked #1 in the 132 lbs category, will also be seen taking the mat. However, this time, Forrest is leaving behind the comfort of 132 lbs and moving down to 126 lbs for the upcoming dual. The 2022 U17 world silver medalist will be going up against Wyoming Seminary’s Nikos Filipos. Forrest moving down a weight class here could give him a major advantage and help Bishop gain some extra points. But that’s not all, let’s not forget there’s yet another #1 wrestler who will also be taking the mat!

Last but not least, Melvin Miller also joins the roster. Miller is coming off his Powerade finals win, where he donned the coveted #1 crown in 165 lbs taking down Alessio Perentin. He is in his prime form, to say the least. However, his journey ahead will not be easy considering he will be going up against Wyoming Seminary’s Jack Chamberlain. With Bassett, Forrest, and Miller on Bishop McCort’s roster, they are a force to be reckoned with. However, a trio of stars is not all that Bo Bassett’s school is bringing to the table!

Bishop McCort has some other major names on their face-off roster. Wrestlers like Keegan Bassett at 106 lbs ranked #12, Sam Herring at 133 lbs ranked #10, and Devon Magro at 157 lbs ranked #8 will also be taking the mat. Now that is a dual for the ages and the wrestling community is here for it. However, let’s not forget the larger goal that Bassett’s school has in mind!

However, the win turned bittersweet as they fell short against Faith Christian Academy. Faith’s win catapulted them to the top, but what it did was establish Bishop McCort as a contender to watch out for. Hang on, the plot gets better!

Soon after the Ironman tournament came the Powerade. Any guesses on who took the crown? Bo Bassett’s school, Bishop McCort did. Meanwhile, Wyoming Seminary ended up falling to the fourth place. If Bishop McCort wins on Wednesday night, it puts them in a rather favorable place to knock Faith Christian Academy off their #1 spot. Now that is what the wrestling community calls a high-stakes event!
