Both Gable Stevenson and Michael Chandler rose to fame after proving themselves in high school wrestling. From that perspective, Bo Bassett has a bagful of laurels to earn the nation-best tag. In the 45 kg bracket, he has an impressive feat of getting featured in both freestyle and Greco-Roman categories in the 2021 Cadet World Team. Additionally, in his collegiate year last season, Bo Bassett held a clean state in his six fights. Such a feat landed him with the wrestling legends. Doubling that, recently the U20 star has drawn attention from a big name.
It is the MAG Agency, the premier athlete management firm, that once helped Bassett’s predecessors like Gable Stevenson and Michael Chandler. Apart from them, Forest Molinari also joined the firm once to make things bigger. From now on, Bo Bassett will also walk on the same path as the MAG Agency has confirmed its link with the budding wrestler. However, the rooting for similar success achievements as Gable, Michael, or Forest ticked in the past, will be there for him. The 17-year-old phenom knows about that for sure. And this is the reason he wants to follow a careful approach before choosing his next camp.

With Penn State NLWC, Bo Bassett nurtures a special camaraderie. Recently, he was framed doing his training with the Paris Olympics-bound wrestler Zain Retherford. While such a frame has raised certain eyebrows thinking about Bassett’s upcoming moves, the wrestler has decided to allow things to take their own flow. Rather, he is trying to improve his chance of bringing a medal from Spain.
Rather, in the upcoming days, he might aim for a bigger target. In that way, he will be able to secure his chance for the LA Olympics, set in 2028. Therefore in such a situation, he knows about gaining experience. And that would come in his way if he keeps himself ‘open’ to chances. Keeping a tab on that, the 2024 PIAA Class 2A title holder has said, “I’m excited to go see where I best fit”. The MAG Agency has already included him in its management program. Now, Bo Bassett’s fans would expect such a holistic camp to come to him to rope in their collegiate program.
