He stated, “Everyone asks me what I said to President Donald Trump when I first met him. First, I thanked him for what he’s done. Ferrari has remained fierce and fiery this entire season. After winning the PAC-12 individual title, Ferrari cruised into the NCAA Championships. However, a win remained elusive. But what keeps us inspired is how he made a comeback after 2 years of hiatus after his car accident. And now, even though he went home in defeat, his aim to make ‘wrestling great’ shall echo forever.

AJ Ferrari remains an indomitable force to reckon with

Yes, he lost out at the NCAA Championships, but AJ Ferrari’s comeback and going undefeated till the Championships is nothing short of impressive. Before making it to the NCAA Championships, he stood at 17-0 and now, post the finals, at 20-1.

He may have lost to eventual champion Stephen Buchanan, but what we loved about Ferrari here is how humbly he took to his social media to share a note for his fans and supporters, to drop an apology for the loss. And that’s what makes Ferrari irreplaceable! Because your losses and wins, every bit of it, affect your admirers.

Ferrari wrote, “A big Apology to my Family, Friends, Fans, Supporters, and Sponsors. Tonight was a [s***] performance and I have no excuses. I am still 2-1 against you Stephen Buchanan but you got the last dip when it counted and I admit it hurts. But I’m definitely not done yet.”  It definitely takes a lot of courage and honesty to accept the defeat and the lapses one missed during the game. Not just that, he also drew insights from his opponents and their on-mat moves. And Ferrari, by doing it, proved that that’s what makes him the OG.
