The internet recently went gaga when the DWTS pro took to her Instagram and shared aww-worthy images with a USC footballer, questioning, “Is this a hard launch???🤭❤️🔥” The giggle in the caption practically echoed through our screens!
And with that post, took off her relationship speculations that kept concretizing, until Arnold confirmed it to the world. Yes, she is dating the USC tight end, Walker Lyons, who in her words, makes her feel, “the luckiest.” We’re sure you’ll have several questions swirling in your minds. Walker Lyons is a ‘West Coast kid’ from California, who studied at the Folsom High School and commenced his athletic career there too. His high school football stint may have been cut short by an incident where he broke his leg, however, for all the time he did play, Lyons was named the All-American Bowl’s Man of the Year, in 2023. In 2024, Lyons committed to USC, which per his statement in a press conference was, “always one of [his] favorite schools.” Ever since he has been third on the team’s tight end depth chart.
But how did he stumble across Rylee Arnold? Well, Arnold keeps her social media game as real as ever and in one such candid moment, revealed that she had her first date with Lyons in October 2024, which involved grabbing a ‘sweet treat’ and going around for a drive in Santa Monica. Per her, they had been having a great time talking to each other and texting, which is why she was thrilled to get to meet him, “I have never met him before, but we have a lot of mutuals, which [are] interesting coincidences…” she said.

And the best part? Their personalities match quite well. They are both members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Apart from that, there ar a few particulars that Rylee Arnold appreciates, “He’s so supportive of me and just so kind to me all the time. Speaking to Access Hollywood, Stephen Nedoroscik shared that he recently got the chance to meet Rylee Arnold’s new boyfriend. “We were in a little bit of a dance, he walked in, and I was like, oh shoot, this is weird, I’m dancing.” But the gymnast agreed, “He [Walker Lyons] seemed like such a nice guy, definitely definitely a sweet dude.” Nedoroscik even shared a little anecdote of how Lyons held the door for him, which is why he could tell how polite and well-mannered the footballer was.

Rylee Arnold on the other hand couldn’t help but let out a cackle, saying, “I got the stamp of approval on that one!” Well, her instinct always was that Walker and Stephen would definitely like each other because both of them were incredibly happy and nice boys. And you know what? The three of them accompanied by Nedoroscik’s girlfriend, Tessa McCracken have also been on a double date!
On November 9, Rylee Arnold shared a peek into their double date, as all four were en route to the LA premiere of the movie Wicked!
