Ryder Dodd is one of America’s highest-grossing water polo superstars at the moment. The 2023 Junior Fisher Cup Champion displayed a staunch performance in his Pan American Games debut that crushed the Mexican opposition. USA Water Polo tweeted about the match outcome and Dodd’s performance via its official X account.

The tweet carried the caption, “The USA Men got off to a solid start in Chile with a 30-2 win over Mexico to open play at the Pan American Games. 9 players found the cage including 6 goals from Ryder Dodd with Drew Holland and Adrian Weinberg recording 7 saves.” The debutant fired through the Mexican defense and scored 20 percent of the massive total of 30 American goals.

With this performance, Ryder Dodd also flaunted his readiness for the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris. Dodd and Team USA would like to maintain this momentum and claim the Pan Am Games gold medal with more dominating wins. Interestingly, the number of goals scored by Dodd follows a pattern. This pattern has followed the athlete multiple times, and in fact, may be his lucky charm.
