“Was Like Hanging Out With..”- Shaun White Reveals Nina Dobrev Helped Him Meet His Favorite James Bond Actor

The Oscars 2022 was an out-and-out royal affair. It witnessed the best of Hollywood. It also witnessed the best of the Olympics, with Shaun White gracing the red carpet. Shaun was invited as one of the presenters at the 94th Academy Awards.

White was there to present a tribute video of the one and only James Bond. Famous skateboarder and entrepreneur Tony Hawk and American surfer Kelly Slater also accompanied White on stage. They released a tribute video to the ultimate spy; 007. Shaun himself also revealed who was his favorite James Bond.

Who is Shaun’s favorite James Bond?

Over the years, James Bond has become one of the iconic cinematic characters. Therefore, the character had several movies and series dedicated to it. Multiple actors played the role of legendary spies. However, some of them are more famous than others because of their classic performances.

When Shaun White got to know he would be presenting a James Bond tribute, he said yes right away.

“I was like ‘yeah I’m there, I’m there,” revealed an excited Shaun White. He also revealed his favorite James Bond actor.

“Um, I mean I have to say Daniel Craig but Pierce Brosnan, it’s gotta be him. When I was a kid, Pierce was the man.”

Turns out, it is girlfriend Nina Dobrev because of whom Shaun could meet the actor. “I was lucky enough to meet him recently. My girlfriend shot a movie with him and so I was like hanging out with Pierce James Bond and I was like ‘this is so cool’.”

Brosnan played the secret agent in the film series from 1995 to 2002. Most popular among them are Die Another Day and Tomorrow Never Dies. In addition, he also played the spy character in several video games.

Shaun White accompanied to the Oscars by his mother

While the majority of celebrities took their significant other as their Oscar date, Shaun took his mother, Cathy White. The two had a gala time at the Oscars. They were dressed in matching black outfits and Cathy White was more than happy to be with her son in his big moment.

Notably, Cathy White also had an oops moment on the red carpet when she stepped on Rosie Perez’s dress. However, White reassured his mother, and they laughed the little incident away.
