The Volleyball season is halfway through. It has been a great season for some teams. While some teams are trying to stay afloat in the standings, some teams are trying to keep their winning streaks alive. For the Stanford volleyball team, the season has been good. The team is holding one of the top spots and players are performing consistently.
In overall standings, Stanford has maintained the domination at the third spot with a 13-2 record. They are leading the standings in the Pac-12 Conference with a 6-0 lead over its opponents this season. In Pac-12, Stanford is being closely followed by Arizona State, Oregon, and Washington State, all sharing a 5-1 record.
Keeping the streak alive

With the win over Washington and Washington State last weekend, Stanford has kept their Pac-12 Winning streak alive and even bettered it. Even their on-road record is a perfect 9-0 right now. In an Instagram post by Stanford, they shared a record summary for Stanford Women’s Volleyball, mentioning two of their strongest players, Kami Miner and Kendall Kipp. Miller leads the nation in assists per set (11.96) while Kipp is 10th in points per set (5.18).

Meanwhile, the Pac-12 Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week was bagged by Stanford too. Caitie Baird, a senior, received her fourth offensive honor after a .486 with 18 kills. Elena Oglivie, who is also a senior, bagged up her seventh defensive reward with 27 digs, making it a season-high. Stanford will welcome USC and UCLA to the Maples Pavilion for a home game. They will try to dominate the game and keep their season performance at the top.
A good volleyball season for the Cardinals

On the third week of the Pac-12 overall number 3 Stanford kept dominating the Pac-12 standings with their new improved 24-straight streak which dates back to the last season. The top five of the AVCA Poll remains the same with Stanford keeping the 3 spot, Washington State holding 4 and Oregon the 5 spot.
Before losing to Stanford, Washington State dominated the game against California with a 3-0 sweep. They were on a dominant 14-match-winning streak that the Cardinals put to an end. The Cardinals won 3-1, but it was a much closer match than it seemed. The first two sets went all the way to 31-29 and 29-27.

The Cardinals are dominating their spots and are consistent in their performance with the whole team working in sync. While they are making waves in the Pac-12 Conference, the overall season for them has also been nothing short of magnificent.
