The player was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in 2022 as their 12th round pick, being 357th overall. He signed his contract for $125,000.

However, since then, he has mostly plied his trade for the minor league baseball side, the Lakeland Flying Tigers. While she starts the video with a serious look, Madisen’s face lit up as soon as her boyfriend actually arrived.

She immediately goes up and hugs him in a very heartwarming moment. During the caption of the video, she talks about how difficult maintaining a long-distance relationship really is. Madisen Skinner said, “Being in a long-distance relationship with another athlete can be SO HARD at times, but nothing in the world beats the feeling of finally being back with the person that brings out the best in me💓.”

Madisen Skinner also touched upon the topic in another TikTok video uploaded in July. In the video, an on-screen text appears where it says, “When the girl that doesn’t have to do long distance with her boyfriend says, I’m jealous of her.” She is then seen jokingly shouting about the fact that she actually is jealous of that girl. Thus, Madisen Skinner’s long-distance relationship might be tough for her to deal with. But hopefully it’s all worth it if she possibly lifts her fourth NCAA title later this month.
