How Did Wisconsin Dominate the Week 7 Chart?

The Wisconsin team is on a remarkable streak while holding the top spot on the charts for the impressive time of 7 weeks. However, this position is not because of luck, but Badgers secured it with unwarned dedication, persistent hard work, and incredible skills from this extraordinary team. NCAA Women’s Volleyball recently put a post on their official X page with the rankings. The caption reads, ” 7 weeks on top for @BadgerVB while @SunDevilVB moves up 5 spots to No. 19‼️

In addition, the Badgers also features some key players, including Sarah Franklin, Anna Smrek, Carter Booth, and CC Crawford among others. These players make sure to lighten up every match. However, the consistent position is not only maintained through practice but also through strategical support. In an exclusive interview with UW Badgers, Kelly Sheffield said, “We served a lot better as the match went on. The first two times around, we put a lot of balls on their platforms… They had a lot of options. As the match went on, our serving was really good. We drove them, we dropped them, we moved them around and that makes blocking easier.”
