The Halloween Season is raging on with full steam as everyone is actively taking part in the festivities. The NCAA women’s volleyball teams are also joining in on the fun to celebrate one of America’s most popular holidays. Amidst all the rush, a recent update from the camp of the Wisconsin women’s volleyball has delighted the fans of the Badgers.

The Wisconsin Badgers women’s volleyball team has enjoyed a highly successful NCAA season so far. The defending champions have only registered a single loss so far, and have massively dominated the tournament. While the Badgers have already terrorized almost every NCAA team with clean sweeps, their new Halloween avatar spooked things up even more.

Wisconsin Badgers splash on the spooky vibe

Wisconsin fans have witnessed the Badgers strike fear in their opponents with their towering defense and pulverizing offense. The volleyball style employed by Wisconsin involves making the opposition lose morale from the very first set. NCAA Women’s Volleyball recently tweeted a fun video of the scariest volleyball team embracing the Halloween season. The tweet carried the caption, “It’s getting spooky #NCAAWVB x @BadgerVB” The video showed the entire team of Wiscon lying on the volleyball court, mysteriously waving their arms. 

The video played a spooky Halloween jingle in the background as the Badgers moved, with the frontmost player in a black hoodie. The player with the black hoodie also donned the iconic mask from the horror slasher movie franchise, Scream. The footage was shot during one of the practice sessions of the Badgers when the team decided to dive into Halloween mode. With their scary mode back on, the Badgers look forward to restoring their recently lost status as the number one team.

Taking back the number one women’s volleyball crown

The spooky and scary women’s volleyball team of Wisconsin was enjoying an undefeated NCAA campaign until recently. The Badgers ranked number one in the league, faced the ranked two-team Nebraska Huskers on the road. In what was an epic showdown between both powerhouses, the Badgers suffered a last-minute loss after a dominating performance.

Although Wisconsin didn’t win the match, they had certainly terrorized the Huskers with their limitless volleyball skills. The Huskers watched in horror as 18 of their kills got coldly blocked by the Badgers’ defense. The women of Wisconsin are determined to recapture their number-one status and lead the league once again.

In fact, they have already started to dominate, as they brought Michigan State down to its knees with a clean sweep on 27th October. Their next match will see the Huskers visit the territory of the Badgers on 24 November. Will Nebraska manage to save itself from another terrifying Wisconsin onslaught?
