Joining them are 15 other powerhouse teams, including Missouri, Kentucky, Oregon, Pitt, Florida, Stanford, Purdue, Louisville, Texas, Creighton, Marquette, Penn State, Texas A&M, Wisconsin, and Dayton. With these squads locked and loaded for the semifinals, the much-anticipated schedule has finally been released, setting the stage for an epic NCAA Volleyball showdown!

NCAA Volleyball and its schedule!

The NCAA Women’s Volleyball account took to X on December 7, right after Nebraska’s big win, to drop the much-anticipated semifinal schedule. But hold onto your hats, because this lineup is as jam-packed as it gets! Split across two intense days—Thursday, December 12, and Friday the 13th—fans are in for back-to-back action. Each day kicks off with the first game at 1:00 PM ET, airing live on ESPN2, and it’s game-on from there.

Starting on December 12, the Pitt Regionals take the spotlight with Missouri squaring off against Kentucky at 1 PM, followed by Oregon clashing with Pitt 30 minutes after the opener concludes. As the evening sets in, the Louisville Regionals kick off with Florida facing Stanford at 7 PM, followed by Purdue taking on Louisville immediately after.

Fast-forward to Friday, December 13, the Penn State Regionals open with Texas battling Creighton at 1 PM, followed by Marquette facing Penn State. Wrapping up the day, the Lincoln Regionals take center stage at 7 PM with Texas A&M going head-to-head with Wisconsin, and Nebraska taking on Dayton to cap off the action.

And just when you thought things couldn’t get more intense, the regional finals are set for the weekend, on Saturday, December 14, and Sunday, December 15! Now, you’d think volleyball fans would be hyped for this whirlwind of games, right? Nope. Turns out, the back-to-back grind and tight schedule left many fans fuming. The comments section quickly turned into a vent-fest, with fans expressing frustration over the packed schedule.

Volleyheads gets furious over the schedule!

Oh, you betcha! Fans weren’t having it. They flooded the comments section with some serious heat about the NCAA Volleyball schedule, and one user was like, “Absolutely screwed Pitt with this! 3:30pm Thursday game is absurd.” I mean, come on—it’s a Thursday afternoon, right? And it’s Pittsburgh. A lot of folks were scratching their heads, wondering who thought it was a good idea to schedule a big game like that during work hours. You’ve got all these volleyball fans out there with jobs, trying to catch the action, but nope, the timing’s just not on their side.

Oh, and it didn’t stop there. Another fan popped up in the comments saying, “Why would they schedule #Nebraska at the exact same time the men’s basketball team hosts their Big Ten opener against Indiana? That’s ridiculous.” And honestly, the comment pretty much sums it up. Nebraska fans are gonna be torn on December 13th because while the volleyball team faces off against Dayton, at the exact same time, the basketball Huskers are battling Indiana at Pinnacle Bank Arena!

Talk about a tough call—volleyball or hoops? That’s gonna be a major dilemma for fans trying to catch both! Another fan was right there with them, posting, “Just realized this means Nebrasketball v Indiana going to be going on concurrently with volleyball vs Dayton, likely for at least some of it. Don’t like that.” Yep, they’re feeling the same pain—two huge games, one tough choice! It’s like they’ve got to pick between their favorite kids. Not ideal, right?

Yeah, the schedule this season hasn’t been kind to anyone, not just the fans. Even Nebraska’s coach John Cook voiced his concerns about playing games during the holiday season, calling it “It’s just the time of year.” Still, fans? They weren’t having it. One fan took to the comments to share their frustration, saying, “So they stack all 8 games today within 3-hour start times, then make teams play in the middle of the afternoon during the second weekend…” Honestly, it’s tough—fans, players, and coaches alike are all feeling the heat from this chaotic NCAA Volleyball schedule!

Just last month,

fans were pumped when the NCAA volleyball schedule dropped for the first time. But little did they know, things were about to take a wild turn. With more details added, their excitement quickly flipped to frustration. One fan even joked, “Yeah, ESPN has a pretty good idea of who the TV draws are here.” The schedule didn’t change, but the game times? Well, they definitely didn’t line up in favor of the fans’ favorite teams. It’s wild how quickly the mood shifted, right? What do you think about this? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
