Ally Batenhorst loves sharing the side of her life that fans never get to see on the court. Whether it’s her emotional state after graduating from USC or her delight after buying a brand-new luxury SUV, she shares it all on TikTok. However, the volleyball star is reserved when it comes to her dating life. So fans were excited to see her basketball athlete boyfriend make a surprise appearance on Batenhorst’s TikTok.

It’s not a secret that the outside hitter is dating Boston Celtics star Baylor Scheierman. However, the couple likes to keep their dating life low-key, barely posting anything on social media. Scheierman and Batenhorst are also amid their respective busy pro schedules. In fact, Scheierman played just before Valentine’s Day. So fans were delighted to see the couple post a rare TikTok.

Scheierman joined his girlfriend to make a TikTok on the song ‘I Say a Little Prayer’ from Glee. However, in signature Ally Batenhorst fashion, the volleyball star couldn’t keep it together the moment the basketball star did something goofy. It was a shame because the Omaha Supernovas star had nearly made it through the video with a straight face.

However, despite failing to make the perfect TikTok, the pair seemed to be having a great time. In fact, the TikTok video wasn’t Batenhorst’s only Valentine’s Day-related post on social media. In a sweet surprise, the Celtics star ensured that his girlfriend got the mandatory bouquet of roses on the special day with a card.

Ally Batenhorst showed fans a glimpse of the bouquet with multicolored roses and a ‘Happy Valentine’s Day’ card on her Instagram stories. However, the volleyball star didn’t disclose if Scheierman had a message for her inside the card. You could say it was the perfect start to Baylor Scheierman’s short break that will last till February 20th. Meanwhile, the 22-year-old has no tie to rest.

Ally Batenhorst’s team didn’t get a flawless start

The former Nebraska Husker had a volleyball homecoming when she arrived in Nebraska to join the Omaha Supernovas. The 15th pick of the 2024 PVF Draft couldn’t have asked for a beer team. The Supernovas are also the defending champions. While representing the state where her college volleyball journey started, as a pro, became a full circle moment.

And while things got off to a winning start for the Supernovas at the CHI Health Center, the team has suffered three losses so far. Although it may not be realistic to expect the defending champions to win every game, they won six and lost three out of their nine games so far. So for now, Ally Batenhorst’s team is fighting to regain the top spot.

Currently, the Vegas Thrill sit is on the top of the PVF table with a 7-2 record. While the Supernovas have won their last two games, they are yet to put up a three-game win streak. Batenhorst & Co. lost the last time they were on the cusp of the three-game run. So, the rookie pro’s focus is to help the Supernova reach their first three-game win streak.

Thankfully, Ally Batenhorst has been quite the super-sub for the Supernovas. Despite playing only 12 sets so far, the outside hitter has already registered 27 kills and 8 digs. So it may be safe to assume that the volleyball star will return to practice in high spirits after a special Valentine’s Day.
