Lexi Rodriguez is officially back in Omaha! After spending some time with her Nebraska Huskers, where she lit up the court, she waved bye to her college team and moved into the pro-life with LOVB Omaha. But even though the team has already had two easy victories–the 3-0 sweep of LOVB Houston and the 3-1 win against Madison–Lexi has not even stepped on the court yet. Yep, you heard that right—she is yet to have her first professional game. But now that the team is preparing to play at home on January 25 against Madison and Lexi’s return to Omaha is more than just a homecoming, it is the start of something big as she rejoins with former teammates.

But a pit-stop in Lincoln first. On January 22, Lexi Rodriguez took to Instagram Stories to share a cute mirror selfie with her girls Maisie Boesiger and Bergen Reilly, captioning it, “my girls.” But that wasn’t all—Lexi also posted a TikTok with Maisie, where the two of them were getting all hyped up for a basketball game in Lincoln. The video has Lexi and Maisie giving fans a “fit check” before going to the basketball game between Nebraska and USC at the Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Maisie jumped in to show off her style. “Okay, I’ll go first. I have this Nebraska Husker shirt and this charm necklace from Collectible Charms. And a leather jacket from Princess Polly. And then low rise Levi’s jeans and… Gotta help me with this one. Oh, I’m sorry. Got some dunks. And then some bracelets from Nolan’s family’s jewelry store, her teen jeweler’s.”

Then it was Lexi’s turn to show off her outfit, and she was ready to slay. “Okay, I have on a Skims long sleeve, low rise Levi’s, my Adidas puffer, and my Adidas Valentine’s shoes. And then I have my charm necklace, bracelet, rings. So slay,” Lexi said, fully embracing the vibe. They were finally ready for the basketball game.

And just when you thought they couldn’t get any more fun, Maisie also shared a video with Lexi Rodriguez, where the two were dancing and grooving to Round of Applause by Waka Flocka Flame. Elated to be back with her best friend after a long time, Maisie captioned it, “Been too long!!!” Clearly, they were living their best life, making memories and loving every minute of it.

It seems that Lexi Rodriguez was looking forward to the Nebraska Men’s Basketball game going by her Insta stories! At the moment, Nebraska is contending against the USC Trojans at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska, and it’s a nail-biter with the Trojans leading 72-71. And oh, Lexi and Maisie? Always giving us the ultimate bestie vibes and keeping us in the loop with their friendship!

Lexi Rodriguez and Maisie Boesiger are the ultimate besties

Maisie Boesiger took to TikTok and posted a video on January 9 that was a complete throwback and it really warmed our hearts with the caption, “These are so cute🥹 @Lexi Rodriguez @kenna.” The video captured their moments together throughout the Huskers’ volleyball season including locker room, practice sessions, and hotel get-togethers.

In one segment of the clip, former Huskers player Kennedi Orr remarked, “It’s gonna be a great day. Best day ever. Best day ever. Yeah, this game is to go to the final four. So let’s get some dusk.” This moment was captured just before their important postseason match, which marked the final collegiate game for both Lexi and Kennedi. Maisie had a nostalgic moment as she wrote in the clip’s caption, “Editing the vlog and watching the last memories playing volleyball with Lexi and Kenna.” It was clear that the memories touched her deeply, and she expressed that sentiment.

Lexi Rodriguez also chimed in and wrote, “aeeee stop i forgot abt this.” Seriously, these two are ultimate bestie goals, no doubt! And with Lexi on the brink of her pro debut with LOVB Omaha, the excitement is through the roof! It’s clear she’s about to bring that same energy and determination to the court.
