The NCAA Division I Volleyball Tournament has already given fans some splendid matches. This includes the Nebraska Huskers vs. Florida game, where the Huskers completely dominated their opponents to such an extent that they created the record for the fewest points conceded in a single set (6) and a match(29). Thus, the tournament has started quite well. Now, it’s all set to enter into a new stage.

After the first two rounds, the NCAA volleyball tournament is now left with 16 teams competing for the title. These teams will now compete in the regional matches, which will decide the teams that will go into the next round, which might give us our clear title favorites. Thus, these matchups will be quite important.

NCAA volleyball regional matches schedule and time

The NCAA regional matches promise some great matchups for every single college volleyball fan. Teams who have similar potential and ability are slowly going to face each other. In fact, it is quite difficult to predict the outcome of most of the matches, as it could go either way. Thus, the stakes will be higher for them. Possible matchups for later stages of NCAA Volleyball

The NCAA volleyball regional matches could set up some brilliant games for the latter part of the tournament. This includes the two-time defending champions, Texas Longhorns meeting no.1 ranked Penn State in the State College Regional. While the Longhorns certainly look like a weaker version of themselves compared to the team we were used to seeing for the last two years, they can still certainly cause problems for the Nittany Lions, who seem to be one of the strongest contenders to win the whole tournament right now. Thus, this potential matchup is great.

But, fans seem to be hoping for a hopeful Nebraska Huskers and Wisconsin matchup too. Despite the Huskers beating them twice in the regular season, nobody wants to miss a matchup between the two rivals. The fact that the game remains one that draws the most viewership among fans could also excite the broadcasters a lot. Thus, the NCAA volleyball tournament is entering a very exciting stage, making fans very excited. Hopefully, it lives up to its hype.
