Harper Murray was the focus of online trolling since she talked about winning three NCAA championships in three years. Fortunately for her, after one full year of the controversy, she is slowly looking to brush aside the negativities. And what better way to do that than to celebrate her own team’s triumph? Competing at the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl, the Nebraska Cornhuskers created history. 

They beat Boston College, winning the Bowl, which was their first one since 2016. And while the boys were out there weaving magic on the field, Harper Murray and her teammates had a merry time celebrating from the stands. Elated by the significant accomplishment, Murray’s teammate, Laney Choboy, uploaded a couple of videos on TikTok. One of the videos was captioned, “fit check in the bathroom.” Here, Murray and Choboy could be seen calling out the names of the brands whose outfits they were wearing. 

The second video was quite a heartwarming one. Choboy and Murray could be seen enjoying from the stands amidst the rain the song ‘For My Love’ by Hector. The closed captions on the video read, “me waiting the whole game for this moment.” At the end of the video, Choboy could be seen inside the player’s area hugging her football boyfriend, Jeremiah Charles, lovingly. Now, while Choboy had a loving moment with Charles, Harper Murray too had her loved one featured in the winning squad.

Huskers’ quarterback Heinrich Haarberg and Murray have been together for quite some time now. The duo was initially spotted last year when Murray showed up to a Huskers game to support the love of her life. Since then, the couple’s blooming love story has kept the fans busy. Surely, Murray’s elation would have doubled as Haarberg was a part of the winning team. 

Coming to the game, the match was an evenly contested one. However, it was the Huskers who held their nerves till the end to clinch a 20-15 win against Boston. This victory marks their first winning season since 2016, which in itself makes the victory sweeter.

Dylan Raiola was the star of the show, completing 23 of 31 attempted passes for 228 yards. He also completed a touchdown and an interception to further bolster Nebraska’s chances. Meanwhile, coming back to Harper Murray, witnessing this victory will surely prove to be an added healing factor. Being constantly criticized in the past year, Murray must be desperately looking to break the shackles of negativity.

Harper Murray takes a trip to New York City

Harper Murray had a forgetful year. After being trolled for her claims to win three championships, Murray had the perfect opportunity to answer back her trolls. Unfortunately, despite having an exceptional season, Murray and her team suffered a shock semi-final defeat to Penn State. Moreover, the Huskers’ star was also involved in a case of shoplifting and was arrested for DUI. However, with the onset of the New Year, Murray is looking to turn a new leaf. Trying to freshen up her mind, Murray was spotted enjoying her time downtime in NYC. 

The 19-year-old uploaded a couple of TikTok videos just a day ago. One of the videos saw her syncing her lips to ‘That’s So True’ by Gracie Abrams. The clip also depicts the young athlete taking a leisurely stroll in New York City. She expressed her elation about her recent outing by captioning the video, “NYCCCC.” Murray also uploaded a second video as she was spotted at the famous Times Square. The closed caption of the video echoed how much she was enjoying her moments on vacation. 

It read, “Walking around Times Square, realizing there’s 300k of you.” This was a reference to her increasing family of TikTok followers. Recently, Harper Murray crossed the threshold of 300k followers. Thus, with things looking pretty bright for Harper Murray, it remains to be seen whether she can turn things around going forward in the upcoming season.
