Harper Murray went through all the emotions when the Nebraska Huskers’ volleyball season ended on a heartbreaker. Their NCAA semifinal clash against Penn State in December was a nail-biter, with the Huskers narrowly falling short after a five-set thriller (25-23, 25-18, 23-25, 26-28, 13-15). The loss hit hard, and Harper’s tears on the court, as Coach John Cook consoled her, showed just how much she poured into the season.

But if there is one thing that Harper Murray knows, it would be how to come back and be the hype queen. This is what she did when her boyfriend and his team, the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team, entered the limelight at the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl to write their names in history. But before we spill all the tea about that iconic win, Harper switched things up and gave an emotional message for her boyfriend’s victory.

Harper Murray lit up Instagram stories with the cutest snap of her and her boyfriend, Heinrich Haarberg, and honestly, we’re swooning over here. The two were caught in a picture-perfect moment, standing in the stadium stands, gazing at each other with that dreamy, can’t-help-but-smile vibe. That must be every couple’s dream, or at least mine!

I love you!! pinstripe champs!!!” Of course, she tagged the man of the hour, Heinrich Haarberg, making sure the world knew just how proud she was of her Pinstripe Bowl champ. It’s giving fairytale vibes with a sporty twist, and we’re totally here for it.

Harper Murray also hopped onto Instagram to drop a sweet little montage of her, her boyfriend, and a Husker teammate, Laney Choboy, and then a bunch of cute pictures with friends and family. Captioning the post with, “Husker win in the 718 @pinstripebowl,” she took the fans through her New York City life. But wait a minute—what happened at the game?

The Nebraska Huskers scored their first winning season since the year 2016, with a 20-15 win over Boston College in the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl played at the Yankee Stadium. Since their last bowl victory in 2015, they claimed another one this season and finished the 2024 campaign with a good record of 7 wins and 6 losses. Total boss vibes. As for Harper, she didn’t just stop at game day celebrations. She fully embraced her New York moment, switching into tourist mode to soak in Times Square and take a well-deserved breather after that nail-biting NCAA semifinals loss.
