The volleyball world is heating up, and new pro leagues continue to emerge while others continue to evolve! The Pro Volleyball Federation (PVF) is getting into action and, in December, they made a groundbreaking decision—the first-ever All-Star Match will take place on February 22, 2025, at Fishers Event Center. This is going to be a real treat for fans as the league’s athletes show their skills in a pure form of volleyball.

And here is the best part–this historic match is going prime time on CBS, which is a major victory for the sport. “The All-Star Match will be a defining moment for our league and the sport of volleyball,” said PVF CEO Jen Spicher and all eyes will definitely be on this event. But just when you thought it couldn’t get any larger, PVF turned the volume up and added an Olympic gold-medalist gymnast to the list of hosts—because why not make history with a little extra flair?

Shawn Johnson East is joining the PVF All-Star Match! FOUR-TIME Olympic medalist, entrepreneur, and sports icon @ShawnJohnson will co-host our inaugural All-Star Match on February 22 at the Fishers Event Center! Don’t miss this history-making event and the chance to witness the league’s top talent in action! With this legendary collab, the All-Star Match is officially a can’t-miss spectacle, and fans better lock in their seats before they’re gone!

Remember the 2008 Olympic Games? Her dedication to excellence, both as an Olympic champion and as an influential voice for women in sports, will bring incredible energy to the event. Her presence underscores our commitment to showcasing not only the sport’s top talent but also the inspiring figures who elevate women’s sports on a global stage.”

And with volleyball now bigger than ever the Paris Olympics gymnastics commentator for Yahoo Sports couldn’t have chosen a better time for her first rodeo with the game.
