Elle Hillers demonstrated her feelings and penned a deep note on her official Instagram. “Dear volleyball, what a journey… from being a bleacher kid that wanted nothing to do with sports and was convinced she would be starring in broadway shows by now, to division one volleyball player that is heartbroken to say goodbye,” she captioned the post.

Elle Hillers, the college athlete who remains supportive of Indiana Athletics, drew attention to her initial athletic career when she didn’t enjoy running. However, there was one thing she would never fake. She elaborated in her post, “I did everything I could to avoid playing, I would get technical fouls, fouls out, fake injuries; I wanted nothing to do with the sport. the one thing I could not fake was my joy on the court.”

Elle expressed, “when covid hit, I found out that my childhood best friend, Neveah, who i had started my volleyball journey with had passed in a car accident. at that moment, I made a promise to myself that no matter what, I would finish alone what we had started together. I can confidently say that I did it, for us.’’
