Despite the well-earned victory, Nebraska’s persistent battle amassed a total of 12 errors during the match. This issue had plagued them in recent encounters as well. There have been 28 serious errors in away games against Purdue and Indiana just a week ago. Later it went to 19 errors against Ohio State and Minnesota in their previous home matches. What makes this victory even more remarkable is Nebraska’s persistent struggle with inconsistent performance, due to a recurring issue with service errors. Coach Cook was furious with his team a few days back because of this problem. However, the Huskers finally rode high on their exceptional talent pool.
