They left the Huskers’ pack—the seniors—Lexi Rodriguez, Merritt Beason, and others. In the last match, despite their stellar performance, the Huskers couldn’t blow off the rivals. Lexi and her team stopped at the final four in that NCAA season. From the season’s beginning, they were seen as the turners of tides. Though that hadn’t come off, it didn’t stop their journey to move up in volleyball. They, the seniors, turned pro this year. And for the Nebraska Huskers. Well, they also got their share of sunshine.
While the sting of last year’s defeat still lingers, Huskers’ women’s volleyball shines brightly. With recruits in the 2026 class, it is already creating buzz among volleyball lovers. Yes! There is more. The recruits are Keoni Williams, Gabby DiVita, and Jyden Robinson. And they are coming with a positive update to the Huskers’ pack.

Nebraska Huskers’ 2026 class sends high hopes
The new recruits have succeeded in their high school careers, and their rankings have moved up. From the top brass of Nebraska, LincoIn Arneal shared the news. On Jan. 14, LincoIn penned on his X handle, “All 3 of Nebraska 2026 commits are ranked in the Top 20 of PrepVolleyball’s January update.” While Keoni Williams has succeeded in holding the previous ranking at No. 5, Gabby DiVita moved up to the No. 7 spot. On the other hand, Jayden Robinson moved up to the five spots and etched her name to No. 18. But wait! There is also positive news for other colleges too. Wisconsin and Pittsburg have five new commits in the top ranks.
All 3 of Nebraska 2026 commits are ranked in the Top 20 of PrepVolleyball’s January update.
Keoni Williams, MB, remains at No. 5 while Gabby DiVita, OH, moved up 3 spots to No. 7. Jayden Robinson, OH/OPP, is up 5 to No. 18.
Texas commit Henley Anderson, OH, is still No. 1.

Another post from the same day by LincoIn Arneal stated that Wisconsin and Pittsburg have three and two new commits on that list. While Wisconsin’s Audrey Flanagan and Halle Thompson made their way to the No. 2 and No. 3 spots, another new face, Lynney Tarnow, was positioned in the No. 11 spot. “Pittsburgh has a pair in the top 10,” wrote LincoIn on the post. At the No. 4 position, Pittsburgh’s Ayanna Watson marked her presence, while Isabelle Hoppe made it to the No. 9 spot. Disheartened by the last outcome of the Huskers, this seems great news for the fans and to start the 2025 and 2026 collegiate volleyball.

While committing to the Nebraska Huskers, middle blocker Keoni Williams went with a list of 15 colleges. Per a Huskers’ online post on the X, the 6-foot-4 Keoni settled with the Huskers and made the commitment last year. Keoni seemed to have a prior relationship with Husker’s staff, which made the transition smooth.

Another recruit, Gabby DiVita, has an outstanding record in her play. She even played with the Legacy club. Earlier, the famous Husker Harper Murray had played in that club. Likewise, the outside hitter, Jayden Robinson, committed to the Huskers without stepping foot on the Nebraska campus. The selection of the pack charmed her.
Adding to that, further positive news is on the Huskers’ horizon. Fans will be happy to know that the new recruits, besides their solid roster for 2026, and another two newcomers, have already put feathers on their hats.

Gatorade Player of Year Awardees will bolster the Huskers’ roster
The newcomers are Campbell Flynn and Teraya Sigler. Flynn, the setter, and Sigler, the outside hitter, have remarkable volleyball skills. They won the Gatorade Players of the Year honors for their superb sports streak. While Campbell Flynn was named Michigan Player of the Year, Teraya Sigler won the Arizona Player of the Year award. That’s great for them and even better for the Huskers.
Due to these incomings, Huskers’ coach, John Cook, can now look at the next prize with a smiling face. While the new NCAA volleyball season is on the way, Huskers’ fans, with their present and future stars, can cross their fingers to paint off the stings to snag the NCAA scoreboard.
