Ally Batenhorst is all ready to step into the next big chapter of her life. After spending a season displaying her impressive skills for the USC Trojans, Batenhorst is excited to become a pro volleyball athlete. Featuring in the 2024 PVF draft, Batenhorst was picked up by the Omaha Supernovas in the second round. However, apart from being one of the emerging talents in the women’s pro-volleyball circuit, Batenhorst also has another side to her story.
The outside hitter is an active user of social media. Owing to her inclination towards the same, Batenhorst has been able to garner quite a lot of interest in her social profiles. As a result, it took no time for Batenhorst to become one of the most popular college volleyball players on TikTok. Uploading content on a regular basis, the 22-year-old sensation has nearly 230,000 followers and 25 million likes. And while she is gearing up for a grinding season, Batenhorst is having a fun time with her new PVF teammates.
On the 29th of December, Batenhorst uploaded a video on TikTok, sharing a glimpse of her practice session. While the ex-Trojan superstar could be seen sitting on the mat, most of her teammates too seemed relaxed. In fact, a number of them were spotted lying flat on the floor. Summing up the situation, a sarcastic Batenhorst termed the entire practice session as ‘hard work’. Taking to her TikTok, the Omaha star captioned the post, “dw we’re excited just been working hard.” Batenhorst further wrote in the closed caption of her video, “pov it’s our second practice of the day.”

Her being picked up by the Omaha Supernovas as the #15 overall pick meant that Batenhorst was coming back to Nebraska.
Elated by her return, the Outside Hitter stated, “I’m so excited and just ready to get back to Omaha, back to Nebraska.” She further delved deep into why the Nebraska connection felt so special to her. Batenhorst stated, “My entire family’s from there, and I just have so many memories there…” Incidentally, this was also the reason behind the 22-year-old rejecting teams like Wisconsin, Texas, and Stanford for NU in 2021. Meanwhile, Batenhorst’s excitement can be fathomed from her vibrant showing for the Supernovas. In the very first challenge itself, she was able to mightily impress her new teammates.
