It’s tough setting up a new home! Even more so when you have to do it alone. As Ally Batenhorst returns to Nebraska for the next part of her adventure with the Omaha Supernovas, the USC alum will face unprecedented problems. With the weather not helping, the former Nebraska Huskers star is also scurrying to get the things she needs, but in the whirlpool of activities, it seems like Batenhorst is missing out on the small things.
Only yesterday, the outside hitter expressed frustration over how Target missed out on some components for her new TV. Batenhorst also noted that her new apartment had only one TV, and she needed to get another and assemble the same by herself before the snowstorm made mobility critical. But the whole thing might have been just a misunderstanding, as Ally’s latest update suggests.
In her TikTok video from January 5, USC’s first Big10 Player of The Week volleyball star apologized to the shopping chain, publicly, for her ignorance. Yesterday, Ally Batenhorst mentioned she couldn’t find the bottom part of the TV to set it up properly and that Target didn’t cooperate despite her repeated attempts to reach them. But she found the part while cleaning her apartment, and the agonizing look on her face was enough to make it clear that Batenhorst was truly sorry for how she lashed out at the store.

“I want to sincerely apologize to Target. They did nothing wrong. It’s all on me. I take full responsibility,” said Ally, with a sheepish smile. And still, she noted it was like something more metaphysical was at work, as she captioned her post writing, “…it was magic someone tried to hide it from me.” Batenhorst elaborated on how the component slipped under a door and was barely visible in that position, making it difficult for her to notice.

However, as soon as she realized that she just didn’t look hard enough for it, the volleyball star quickly pointed out that her anger at Target was unjustified and was her own fault. She then showed her fans how the TV was working nicely and she now needs to mount it on the wall as the next step.
Now that her apartment is shaping up, Batenhorst will shift her attention to turn her gaze to the work at hand.

Ally Batenhorst is set to return to familiar pastures
Ally will start her life as a pro volleyball athlete, with her NCAA days ending. The Omaha Supernovas drafted her last November as the 15th overall pick. Naturally, Batenhorst is excited to return to the volleyball capital of the USA to revel in the fans’ admiration once again.
“I’m beyond excited to be drafted and sign with the Supernovas. It’s such a blessing to be able to play professionally in the state near my family, and I can’t wait to play in front of the amazing Nebraska fans again,” she noted her elation at returning to Nebraska.

Moreover, as a Supernova player, Ally will reunite with her former Husker teammate Lindsay Krause. But while that’s expected to be a jubilant affair, Ally’s anxiety about living in sub-zero temperatures after spending a year at USC is also a major concern. However, with familiar faces around, it should be a matter of time before Batenhorst overcomes the minor setback.
