Megan Rapinoe is probably one of the most decorated soccer players in the world. The Ballon d’Or Féminin winner has been part of the US women’s national team in two FIFA world cup victories and has also shared an Olympic gold medal with the team.

Did Sue Bird just reveal her wedding theme with Megan Rapinoe?

Megan and Sue have been in a relationship for over five years now. They got engaged in October 2020 and ever since the speculations about their wedding are on. However, while talking to the People, the WNBA star revealed the theme for her wedding with Megan Rapinoe.

She said, “We were just talking about it the other day. Ironically, this is like I said, honestly, stars aligning seems to be the theme. We’re kind of toying with having a wedding in Mexico maybe.”

Sue further added, “we also talked about what we wanted the attire to be. I think basically what you said, we would want people to come as themselves more than anything. I think for both me and Megan, that’s really important in our own lives. So we’d want that for our guests as well.”

Apart from being excellent sports players, both Megan and Sue are also social activists. Throughout their career, they have stood against injustice and social dogmas. The couple is now trying to spread awareness about anti-LGBTQ violence and bullying through their campaign “Love Is – Uninterrupted.”
