The past year or so has been tough for the American sprinter, Sha’Carri Richardson. However, she has great potential, and capitalizing on her strength will be the best way to move forward for the 21-year-old athlete. Now, with what can be a comeback or yet another setback season, Richardson is aiming for greatness.

Last year, Sha’Carri was disqualified from the Tokyo Olympics after she returned a positive doping test, prior to the event. As further events unfolded, the athlete was criticized heavily; However, she took full responsibility for her actions and faced everything strongly.

What does the future hold for Sha’Carri Richardson?

While the past has been like a bad dream for the 21-year-old athlete, her future looks as bright as the sun. She is not the type of person who would hold on to the past and let it hinder her growth as she said, ?The past will come up, but I know I am not that.? With Nike’s deal and an appearance in a Dre commercial for Beats, she is all set to have an interesting off-the-track life as well.

On the question of her personal growth, she said, ?Honestly, like just a lot of self-awareness is going on right now with me, with myself and my hobbies or anything that makes me look at myself and how I?m impacting the world.? When asked about what can be expected of her in the future, she said, ?Greatness, off and on the track.?

A promising career ahead

Despite being disqualified from her first Olympics, Sha’Carri Richardson is undoubtedly a remarkable athlete. During her trials for the Tokyo Olympics, she set a record by finishing a 100m race in just 10.86 seconds; while she has also won USA Track and Field Junior Championships in 2017.

In her brief career, Sha’Carri Richardson has achieved quite a lot of fame in the US national competitions. When she was 16, she won a 100-meter dash in the AAU Junior Olympics, and during her international debut at Pan American U20 Athletics Championships, the American sprinter won gold in the 4x100m relay race.
