According to Craig Pintеns, the athletic director, this challenging decision positions the department and the remaining Division I sports for future success. The news came under the official Twitter page of LMU Athletics, with a caption stating, “Earlier today, LMU Athletics announced plans to refocus efforts to support 14 intercollegiate sports teams.
