Are you still trying to get over the 2024 Paris Olympics? We don’t blame you! After a three-year-long wait, we finally got to watch some of our favorites on the world’s biggest stage. While Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Noah Lyles stepped into their second berth at Stade de France, Sha’Carri Richardson made her much-awaited debut. And boy! It was everything the world hoped to see. Albeit, shaky, she left the French capital with a 100m Olympic silver and a 4x100m Olympic gold.
As for the rest of the track and field starts? McLaughlin-Levrone broke her world record for the sixth time as she successfully defended her Olympic champion title with another gold. The hurdler bagged another gold medal in the 4x400m relay. The 27-year-old wasn’t far behind either. He shocked the world by clinching his maiden Olympic gold amid a stacked lineup in the 100m event. While the sprinter couldn’t fulfill his promise of a double gold, he bagged an Olympic bronze in the 200m event. But now that the season has concluded, what have the Olympians been up to?

Sha’Carri Richardson enjoyed some quiet time by herself
After a disappointing end to her season at the Brussels Diamond League, the sprinter laid low for a bit. But she popped by in her hometown on September 21. What’s the occasion, you ask? Her alma mater, David W. Carter High School, bestowed the Olympian with a special honor. She was welcomed into the school gym by the marching band and even snapped pictures with the students. During the Carter vs Wilmer-Hutchins game, she unveiled the newly renamed track at Kincaide Stadium.

During her time at the high school, the 24-year-old trained on the same track and was named after her. In big, bold lettering, the track now boasts her name with additional information about everything she’s achieved so far. The Olympian reiterated that this was an honor, and that she had a massive responsibility to uphold. However, she was next spotted with her rumored beau, Christian Coleman, at the Atlanta Falcons’ game on November 3.
The duo enjoyed a thrilling Week 9 matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Falcons. Sha’Carri Richardson received a shoutout during the game. As she received a standing ovation, Coleman couldn’t help but capture the moment on his Instagram, captioned, “RISE UP!!” Turns out, the sprinter was the Falcons’ lucky charm. They beat the Cowboys 27-21 at the Mercedez-Benz Stadium. A few days later, she had the chance to reunite with a special someone.

LSU BFFs Mondo Duplantis and Sha’Carri Richardson returned to campus to be recognized alongside 22 Olympians. The 24-year-old was appreciated for her World Championship win, while Mondo was applauded for setting the pole vault world record. This was a proud moment for LSU, and they soaked every bit of it up. However, the sprinter packed her bags and left for Cancun, Mexico. Why, you ask?
The reigning 100m champion had been signed by Nike earlier this year in March. As a result, they aim to improve women’s sports by amplifying the voices of notable female athletes through their Athlete Think Tank Program. The sprinter was joined by other top athletes like Sanya Richards Ross, Sue Bird, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, and more on November 19th. The 24-year-old even reposted a post about how Nike brought elite women together and captioned it, “Sisterhood is a beautiful thing.” However, what has Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone been up to since the Diamond League grand finale?
Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone went on a trip down memory lane
The 25-year-old shattered her world record for the 6th time at Stade de France. However, as soon as she drew the curtains on her dreamy Parisian stint, the Olympian decided to take some time away with her husband. But where did the loved-up couple spend their time? Andre Levrone and Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone soaked up some sun in Greece. They even celebrated her 25th birthday 8 days after in the Mediterranean.

However, once she returned, she officially ended her season at the Brussels Diamond League. The hurdler ran two invitational races before triumphantly closing her season. On September 20, the Olympian got to add another feather to a hat – Hall of Famer. The 25-year-old returned to her alma mater, the University of Kentucky, to be inducted into the UK Athletics Hall of Fame’s 2024 class. She was one of the 6 inductees, with Jasmine Camacho-Quinn, John Cropp, Henrik Larsen, Jodie Meeks, and Corey Peters.
The Wildcat even enjoyed a college football game with Camacho-Quinn while she was there. But it was time to keep moving, and she set off for her next stop – New York. Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone attended the New York Giants vs Dallas Cowboys matchup on September 26. It was obvious that the New Jersey native was hoping the Giants clinch a win. Unfortunately, they lost 20-25. Yet, this was nothing but a blip in her evening.
Prime Video reporter Taylor Rooks noticed the Olympian wearing her gold medal and decided to approach her. However, when Rooks asked if she could touch it, the hurdler reached for her purse and told her that she had another one. The otherwise stoic and serious athlete shocked the reporter with her cheeky response, and Rooks couldn’t help but share images from their interaction on X. She even captioned the fun post, “One of the biggest flexes ever 😭” The Olympian even stopped by for a quick visit in her hometown, and spent some quality time with her family. But it’s time to find out how the Olympic 100m champion spent his downtime off the tracks.
Noah Lyles lived his best bougie life
The 27-year-old scorched to the finish line in a stunning photo-finish and clinched his maiden Olympic gold. However, after repeating the same results as the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, he bagged another bronze medal at Stade de France. After being wheeled out of the stadium, he decided to take a vacation with his then-girlfriend Junelle Bromfield. After returning to the States, he popped the big question and asked the Jamaican to be his lovely wife. If anyone’s wondering what her answer was, she said yes!

The Olympian was featured as a model in Willy Chavarria’s Spring/Summer 2025 ready-to-wear show at New York Fashion Week in September. The Olympian raced against YouTuber iShowSpeed in a thrilling race with $100,000. While Speed surprised the track and field community with his skills, the reigning 100m world champion eventually emerged victorious. Lastly, he was spotted at the Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix 2024 in the Ferrari garage.
