In track and field, especially sprinting, Team USA and Team Jamaica have been each other’s archrivals for a long time. However, the moment they are off the grid, that competitiveness goes away, and it’s all sunshine and rainbows for them. The same rules apply for both Sha’Carri Richardson and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, as surely they are competitors on a track, but since they are sponsored by the shoe giant Nike, they do attend many sponsorship events together.
Recently, both of the sprinters were seen on Nike’s Athlete Think Tank (ATT), where they appeared to take initiatives for the betterment of women’s athletics, especially supporting young girls to become champions like them one day. This did show that even though they are fierce sprinters on the track, they do share the same belief in supporting each other. This time, the Jamaican sprint queen showcased a benevolent gesture beyond the sport, captivating the attention of the local community and leaving them in awe.

As track and field is going through an off-season, she has been involved in many activities, like collaborations with her many sponsors.
Her appearance at the 2024 ATT was special, as she was present with Sha’Carri Richardson, and both of them shared their ideas of helping out the community where young girls are aspiring to be international athletes like them. Surely, it was a great initiative from Nike to unite these two athletes and bring a lot of attention to the program, as they would also help in creating awareness. And when it comes to creating awareness, this time Fraser-Pryce was seen at the Holy Family Primary School in Kingston, Jamaica.
