Battling a blood clot scare to reach the top

Weeks before the WAC 2023, Crouser woke up with excruciating calf pain. A thorough check revealed two blood clots in his leg that put question on his participation in the event. Referring to that, Crouser later said, “It’s been the most stressful 20 days I’ve ever had…Luckily I had a great medical team working with me and they got me safe to fly so it felt like a relief just to get here, even though I didn’t have proper training or preparation.” But Destiny probably wanted Crouser to gift the victory for his resilience.

The last few days have been hard, so with all that has happened it was a phenomenal throw.” But how does he manage to make those phenomena happen every time?

In Crouser’s words, “I’m always trying to get better, compete against myself, and throw as far as I can.” With the fresh clip of Crouser’s grind before Paris, the world is getting ready to witness his dominance once again.
