On Sunday, newly crowned world champion Sha?Carri Richardson pulled out of the 100-meter dash. The athlete, after her back-to-back participation, decided not to join the forces of Twanisha Terry to clinch a new victory for the United States at the 2023 Meeting Citta? Di Padova. The athlete’s absence also caused Team USA to settle for the second position on the tracks after being dominated by Jamaican sprinter Natasha Morrison (11.5).

However, after the event, Sha?Carri Richardson was spotted at the meet, raising concerns among the fans. The LSU sensation whilst engaging with the fans was seen strangely smiling on the track. Sha?Carri Richardson’s “strange behavior”

On Monday, Track and Spice posted a strange clip of Sha?Carri Richardson on Twitter with the caption “ShaCarri Richardson withdrawing from the meet but not sure what?s going on here” accompanied by a suspicious emoji.

In the video, Sha?Carri Richardson was spotted circling around on the tracks and engaging with her fans at the Meeting Citta? Di Padova 2023. Sha?Carri Richardson was seen waving and sending flying kisses to her fans while the crowd applauded the athlete. Lastly, before being escorted, Richardson also went across the podium to hug one of the winners from the event.

Interestingly, this video has also raised concerns about Sha?Carri Richardson joining Noah Lyles and making an early exit from the Diamond League. Both athletes have been participating in back-to-back events since the beginning of the season. Last week, Noah Lyles decided to end his season early after his last run at the Zurich Diamond League.

Noah Lyles ends his season in Zurich

After becoming a two-time world champion with his historic triple win, Noah Lyles decided to end the season early. 26-year-old Lyles, who went candid in an interview about being tired from back-to-back event participation after his win on the 200m Swiss track, announced the news via social media. Noah Lyles posted a status on Twitter captioned, “And with that, I say goodbye to the 2023 season.”? Further emphasizing his three impeccable wins of the season, the 26-year-old added, ?World?s fastest man in 100 and 200, 2 years Undefeated in the 200m, 3x world champion,” accompanied by three checklist emojis?
