Noah Lyles recently sat down in a men’s mental health interview and revealed several unheard stories of his life. One of them was his leniency on himself regarding his goals the previous year. When asked if he has his goals set for the upcoming season, he expressed, yes, he has.

He expressed, “I feel like I was too lenient on myself with my goals last year”. With this he added, last year he felt like he was going to go after the double and if he does then he is not going to have enough energy for the 200 world record attempt. However, this year is going to be different, “I am not thinking that way anymore”. He aims to go after everything, including the triple and the world record too. He added, “I can do this”.

One of his losses last year at the Prefontaine Classic 2023 was because of the leniency he had, however, he will come roaring back in all the events he participates in the coming year.
