However, the athlete is eyeing a comeback with her participation in the Kazakh event ahead of the Paris Olympics. After just arriving in Astana, Nia Ali announced it on social media. Her legion of devoted followers took to social media in droves, eagerly awaiting the American dominance that they know is possible with an athlete of her caliber.

On her Instagram, Nia Ali wrote, “Opener here in Kazakhstan tomorrow.” In her first photo of the IG post, the track and field athlete, who is 35 years old, wore a long black coat, brown pants, a white sweater, and shoes. Kazakhstan is experiencing chilly weather, but the mother of three is well prepared for it in advance. As she poses with her white shoes, the next shot has a winter aesthetic tone to it.

The track and field star and her partner, Andre de Grasse, pose for a selfie in the third photo. In the next slide, it seems like Nia Ali is practicing for the event as she storms through the hurdles in quick motion. The final slide of the post had a smiling Ali with the same winter drip from the first slide. As the post went live, her admirers were quick to show support for the track and field star before her big race.

The athlete may not be playing on home turf, but she will do her best to bring home victory with her legion of followers’ support by her side.
