Usain Bolt has been away from the tracks as a professional athlete since 2017. The Jamaican holds the title of being the World’s Fastest Man. With a record of 8 Olympic gold medals in the track and field events, Bolt’s legacy outmatches all the others. Looking to add some versatility to his life, Bolt tried his hand at multiple sports, including soccer. But he couldn?t find similar success until he joined the music industry.

Bolt quickly became one of the most loved musicians in the Jamaican music industry. He delivered multiple successful tracks and even overtook Bob Marley’s ranking on the charts with his debut album, “Country Yutes.”

Usain Bolt meets DJ Khaled

Another titan of the music industry, DJ Khaled, is famous for producing groovy, often bass-heavy party songs. A radio jockey in his early years, Khaled has come a long way and has become a global star. Usain Bolt has also come a long way to becoming the undisputed king of the tracks.

Coming from humble beginnings, both the stars chose fields that weren’t even vaguely similar to one another. But, their careers eventually collided when Bolt joined the music industry. Khaled recently traveled to Jamaica on a ‘spiritual vibes’ tour where he met with the ‘Jamaican Lightning Bolt.’

The Grammy-winning artist posted a video on Instagram with Bolt captioned, “@usainbolt speaks !!!!!”

In the video, Khaled and Bolt can be seen standing against the hood of a car as Khaled says, “They ain’t believe in us.” And Bolt follows it up with, “God did.” while Khaled hits back with a, “God did. You see that Usain Bolt? Kingston Whatup? God did, Jamaica did, Usain did.”

The video ends as both of them walk away from the camera in different directions.

This is not the first time Khaled has visited Jamaica. He went to the country to produce a track for his previous album. Track 13 from the album featured Buju Banton, Capleton, Barrington Levy, and Bounty Killer, all of which are Jamaican music legends.

Bolt has been enjoying his life after retiring from track and field. The Jamaican has become a successful music artist and is on his path to achieving global success as a musician.

There aren’t many people who can boast of achieving a feat as impressive as overtaking Bob Marley at the music charts, let alone a debutante. But, Bolt is one of those people who can. His debut album, Country Yutes, ranked no. 1 on iTunes upon its release. Earlier this year, in May, Bolt released another song called ‘Winning,’ which also featured NJ. The video amassed over 24 thousand views within the first 18 hours of its release. He has also released two other singles called ‘It’s a party’ and ‘Living the Dream.’

While Bolt may be done with track and field, he is certainly not done with the ‘tracks’. He hopes of becoming a global icon in the music industry and has certainly made a perfect start.
