Have you ever wondered what makes a perfect match? Hunter Woodall has given quite a thought to it. He and Tara were the golden couple of the 2024 Olympics. Their caliber needs no introduction, and their accomplishments speak for themselves. But beyond the medals and records, it’s their dynamic relationship that truly stands out. Hunter and Mrs. Woodall started dating in 2019, and guess what? Tara made the first move, and she felt like it was reckless. Funny! Fast forward to now, in an interview with GQ Sports, Hunter opened up about their relationship. “It wasn’t just one moment, but the way she makes me feel seen, understood, and supported,” Hunter said. “It’s like she reads my mind sometimes.”

Hunter, whose entire life revolves around intense training and self-improvement, having a partner who could understand his mind without words is just too beautiful. Tara’s a force in his life! She fits in his world like a puzzle. That’s exactly what Hunter needed.

But it wasn’t all about support; it was about the way Tara made him feel every day. “When we’re together, everything feels lighter. Even the tough days seem manageable because she’s there.” The weight of Olympic training, the pressure to perform, the sacrifices—they all seemed lighter when Hunter Woodall had Tara by his side. She isn’t just his life partner; she’s his best friend, his lover, his motivator, and whatnot!

“So, I’m the perfect girl because I know how to pick the right cheat day meals?” she playfully asks. And both of them laugh at that. Hunter says, “She brings out the best in me. I didn’t realize what that felt like until she came into my life.”

With Tara, Hunter found a new level of growth, a new experience completely that he could never let go of, so they married: on October 16, 2022. Hunter adds further, “But it’s also how you challenge me to grow without ever making me feel less than. That’s rare. Now that could be the statement of the couple’s yearbook! Hunter deeply loves his wife, and vice versa.
