Home/Track & Field

2024 was a huge year for Quincy Wilson. He clinched an Olympic gold medal at just 16 (now 17)! But here’s the kicker: Quincy isn’t just a track and field sensation, he’s also a massive NFL fan. Well, scratch that- he’s a die-hard Ravens supporter. Back in September, last year, Quincy and fellow first-time Olympic qualifier Masai Russell were honored at a Ravens game. The team wasted no time in highlighting how inspiring these two athletes are. And it didn’t stop there.

Then Ravens unveiled some fresh new merch, and, of course, Quincy got his hands on it. He shared a post on Instagram showing off the awesome “Mini Helmet” replica of their new gear. “Thanks @ravens for sending me the miniature version of the new helmet,” he wrote, once again pledging his loyalty to the team. It’s safe to say, the bond between Quincy and the Ravens is growing stronger with every passing game, and it’s only getting better! After the recent game, seeing Quincy there again felt like pure good luck for the Ravens—definitely a win-win!

Quincy Wilson’s special Ravens moment

Most recently, fans spotted Quincy Wilson at a Ravens game, where he looked every bit the star he was. Dressed in a stylish jacket, matching lower, and a beige beanie, which most probably Ravens gifted him, he was posing like a true icon. His presence at the game brought extra luck to the Ravens, as they came out on top with a 28-14 victory in their AFC wild-card playoff matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Even the Baltimore Ravens shared a post on their X featuring him with the caption, “Quincy is back.” But this support is constant!

When Quincy Wilson celebrated his 17th birthday on January 8th, the Ravens made sure to make it extra special. They gifted him a customized package, including a beige beanie and a sweatshirt with the Ravens’ signature logo and bold “Baltimore Ravens” embroidery. Wilson shared the thoughtful gift on his Instagram story, thanking the team for the birthday surprise.

“Happy Birthday, Quincy! We hope it’s the best yet!! Your friends at Baltimore Ravens,” the caption read, with Wilson adding his thanks to the team: “Thank you @ravens.” Quincy’s connection with the Ravens is growing stronger with each passing day. But it all started after Wilson’s Olympic triumph in Paris, as he was then invited to the Ravens’ training facility.

A special visit to the Ravens’ training facility

After Quincy Wilson clinched the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, he made a special visit to the Baltimore Ravens’ Under Armour training facility in September 2024. Quincy received a warm welcome from the coaching staff and the track and field star wore his gold medal. Ravens players gather around, some even touching the medal and congratulating him on his incredible achievement. But Quincy wasn’t all alone there.

Quincy Wilson was joined on the visit by fellow Maryland gold medalist, Thea Lafond. who won a gold medal in the women’s triple jump. Even the Ravens’ official Instagram account shared the photos from September 27, captioning it, “Honored to have two of our Maryland gold medalists at practice.” Quincy shows his love for the Ravens and has posted photos with Lamar Jackson, Zay Flowers, Jordan Scott, and Marlon Humphrey. It’s clear that Quincy’s support for the team runs deep, and his connection with the Ravens continues to grow stronger.
