Quincy Wilson’s bold return to track
Quincy Wilson ended his Olympic endeavor in the relays, and when he came back, he also participated in them at the Ocean Breeze Holiday Festival. It was the Sprint Medley Relay (400-200-200-800), and he was set to anchor his team. However, his performance left a lot to be desired and immediately he fell into the clutches of the critics.
But they forgot that an individual race was on his list right next!
Coming to the Marine Corps Holiday Classic, Wilson surprised everyone, as he was set to run in the 600m race. So how did he fare with the rest of the grid?

The 17-year-old ran a blistering 1:17.19, which wasn’t only his personal best in the distance. But, in the process, he also broke the meet record. Colin Abrams came second with a 1:19.10, followed by Jacob Martin in third with a 1:19.67, and the difference showcased a dominant form of the Olympic sprinter.
Indeed, the expectations are even higher for him for the current season, and if he delivers or not, only time will tell.
