Mondo Duplantis has been hoisting the Swedish flag higher and higher almost every other month. The 23-year-old has been pushing hard, especially after breaking past the six-meter barrier. His 6.23-meter pole vault at the 2023 Prefontaine Classic eclipses almost anything and everything he has ever done. However, the athlete shared even more precious memories via his official Instagram account with his fans.

The caption of the post said, “A few unreal moments from the season before we look onwards.” The first image showed Sweden’s national hero draped in the Swedish flag. The next image displayed Mondo sharing a lovely kiss with his girlfriend, Desire Inglander. Interestingly, Duplantis also uploaded a picture marveling at his 6.22-meter vault, his previous world record from his Clermont-Ferrand vault.

The Swede also shared a picture of himself standing before the fans and posing after his 6.23-meter record-breaking vault. That vault marked the perfect epilogue of the 2023 season, which also bolstered his chances for the Athlete of the Year Award. Mondo Duplantis was extremely happy after executing the greatest vault in the history of the sport. The compilation made by Duplantis comes at a really great time. In fact, the 2023 compilation coincides with the timing of the landmark success of his biopic.
