The dust may have settled on the magic of the 2024 Paris Olympics, but we can’t seem to move past it. Tara Davis-Woodhall couldn’t step on the podium during her stint in the Japanese capital. Yet, there’s just something about the City of Love. Amid a raucous crowd, she finally clinched her maiden Olympic gold medal. But wait, it gets better. Her husband, Hunter Woodhall, snagged his first Paralympic gold as the long jumper cheered him on from the stands.

However, they weren’t the only track and field lovebirds in the French Capital. Noah Lyles and Junelle Bromfield looked forward to clinching a few medals as well. Even though the former walked away an Olympic 100m champion and a bronze medalist, the same couldn’t be said about his fiancée. Since their return to the States, the athletes seemed to have crossed paths for an iconic celebration on November 15, and it has caused quite a stir. What went down?

The Golden Couple joined several celebrities for GQ’s 2024 Men of the Year Party. As a nod to how far style has come this year, the magazine celebrated its 29th issue with an ‘American Rodeo’ theme. Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall definitely understood the assignment. However, the magazine’s official Instagram was mighty impressed by their dedication and bestowed them with an incredible honor. They posted a video of the couple’s moments from the red carpet, captioned, “Awarding the gold medal in power couples to @thewoodhalls at #GQMOTY” 

The duo attended the star-studded event and stunned everyone with matching outfits and loved-up moments. In fact, the 27-year-old shared a few snaps from the night on her Instagram. The carousel featured a few videos of the duo goofing around and posing with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. But she also shared an image of them posing with Noah Lyles and Junelle Bromfield. While the former showed up in a sleek tan, embroidered suit, the latter showed up in a stunning denim jacket, pairing it with a white cowboy hat.

For the first time in GQ history, the soirée was broadcast in real-time with a Red Carpet Livestream and red carpet coverage. On Thursday evening, Bar Marmont’s parking lot was transformed into a set out of a Western movie. No, we’re not kidding. The location included a working saloon and a massive amount of cacti. GQ’s global editorial director, Will Welch, and his co-hosts, Men of the Year cover stars Pharell Williams and Dwayne Johnson, asked guests to don their best cowboy core and Tinseltown glamor. After their dreamy Parisian stint, the duo have been busy with a tour on their hands. But if that wasn’t enough, they recently moved from their humble abode in Arkansas to Manhattan, Kansas. However, through it all, they took some time out of their busy schedule to spend some time with the who’s who of Hollywood, and fans were over the moon!

One fan stated, “You guys look fabulous. Thank you for spreading the joy of your victory with us.” Who could ever forget their fairytale ending in the French capital? Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall took the American Rodeo Theme and ran with it! The 2-year-old dazzled in a denim dress, pairing it with a red bandana, gold cowgirl boots and her signature cowgirl hat. However, her husband matched her energy with a fringe denim jacket and a shiny gold belt buckle! Did they understand the assignment, or what?

A fan confessed, “Hollywood should make a movie of you two. You are so inspiring 😍” Watching both of them bag their maiden Olympic golds in Paris will never get too old. In fact, another fan agreed, “You two are too cute! Keep loving on each other and staying true to yourselves. ❤️💖” The lovebirds have been together since they first met at a high school track meet in 2017. 

When Tara Davis-Woodhall made her winning leap in front of 75,000 spectators at the Stade de France, all she could think about was celebrating with Hunter Woodhall. He cheered her on in the crowds with tears streaming down his face! On the other hand, when he sprinter to glory in the T62 400m race, he recreated that magical moment with his wife, and the world fell in love with them all over again.

One fan couldn’t help but make an adorable comparison, “This is giving Western Barbie & Ken. 🤠 Also, the gold boots! STAHP!” If anyone can recreate the Ken and Barbie look, it would have to be the power couple. Another fan agreed, “Nice 👢. The long jumper is every bit of the strong, independent American doll as portrayed in the Barbie movie. But you know what’s even better?
