The pleasant surprise came from none other than Oprah Winfrey. Allyson Felix was so overwhelmed by the surprise of the popular talk show host that she instantly took to her social media to share the joy.

Allyson Felix came up with her sneaker brand Saysh after her fallout with Nike left her shoeless. Over the years, the brand has seen tremendous growth. Now entering another year into the business, Oprah Winfrey once again showcased the brand as she was recently spotted in a sneaker by it. This understandably left Felix elated as she took to her Instagram.
Allyson Felix posted a story featuring Winfrey in the sneakers and expressed, “I will never get over Oprah in @bysash. Giant footsteps by a nascent brand
Being one of the decorated Olympians, Allyson Felix has 11 Olympic and 20 World Championship medals in her possession. Despite that, in an unfortunate development, Felix’s sponsor, Nike, dished out a seventy percent pay cut to the athlete after her pregnancy. As a bare truth of the track and field came forth, the champ decided to take it up her way. Thus, Saysh was born in 2021. In that very year, Oprah Winfrey featured the brand in her “Favorite Things of 2021”. This was not the last time.

In the just concluded year 2023, the brand again returned to Oprah’s favorite things of the year. Oprah chose ‘The Felix Runner’ by the brand as one of her favorites. Besides this, the brand also saw some significant moments of triumph in the year. Among these, a highlight moment came in April when the brand rang the closing bell at the NYSE, while August saw the brand being mentioned as a favorite thing by First Lady Jill Biden. It remains to be seen how the brand, born out of distress, makes its marks in many more hearts.
