Can IShowSpeed really take down Jake Paul with just six months of training?

Going toe to toe with the Olympians can do wonders. In the last fortnight, IShowSpeed had two big chances—one to win $100,000 and another to jump over 7 feet. But both times, the teenage streamer had to swallow a bitter pill. First, he needed to beat Olympic champion Noah Lyles in a 50m race. Then, he had to outdo Olympic bronze medalist Fred Richard in a high jump contest. But no luck—despite trying to make things right with Richard, the crushing loss to Lyles left him feeling the sting.

On the night of November 6, Speed was back at it, desperately trying to make up for his losses at a rusty training ground in Florida. With a chance to take home that $100,000, he pushed himself, but Lyles’ victory was a reminder of his defeat. The cameras didn’t miss a thing, and the grin on Lyles’ face made the loss hit harder. But fret not, IShowSpeed fans—this streamer still has a chance to cash in. How?

Jake Paul is here with a solution. On November 17, a popular X-handle, Ryan disclosed an update. It says that Jake Paul and his manager have officially called out iShowSpeed to a boxing match after Speed said he could beat Jake with 6 serious months of training.” And can you guess the prize money?

The update explains it to be $10,000,000, just for signing up for the fight match. And if he defeats Paul in the ring, then? At that time, IShowSpeed will take another $10,000,000 to his home. Some earth-breaking numbers waiting on the pipeline for Darren Watkins Jr., aka IShowSpeed! But how have things reached this level? Last time, when the streamer entered the boxing ring, things didn’t pan out well for him (remember the triple threat match in WWE!). Then what worked this time? Again, Speed’s comment landed on him at this level.

Recently, at ComplexCon, the YouTube streamer took the seat as a fellow guest. He had to speak about the trends and cultures. Meanwhile, the discussion turned toward the hugely publicized boxing game between ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson and Jake Paul. Expectedly, Speed had a bagful of hubristic statements to share on the match. Initially, he mentioned finding “flaws” in Jake Paul’s movements in the ring. Later, he pressed the accelerator and went a few miles ahead.

In the conversation, IShowSpeed claimed that he could have knocked out the problem child if he had been given the chance. Not only that, but throughout the conversation, Speed discovered no brake. He even admitted that he could beat “any boxer in the world” after six months of training. What was left on the plate after such big statements?

Have an interesting take?

Allegedly, after Speed’s comment went on air, Paul’s manager, Nakisa Bidarian, threw his fireball. He called on the streamer to sign the contract “this week,” and revealed the number on the cash box. Has IShowSpeed accepted the offer yet? There’s no update on it yet. But at the same stage, he promised to enter another enormous battle.

Noah Lyles might see IShowSpeed at the LA Olympics

On November 6, Noah Lyles went through several layers of emotions. He had the joy of winning $100,000 for his charity work. Yet he found a soft corner for IShowSpeed, who had to face the aggressive sprinter in him on track. For someone like the streamer, the experience may not have been suitable enough. So after the race, the 27-year-old came to Speed, offering help.

Having Mr. Beast and Lance Brauman alongside, Noah told IShowSpeed, “You should practice with me, and then, at the end of the week, we’ll race again.” He added further, You’ll be faster, you’ll know what to do, you’ll have the techniques, you’ll have the advantage. Then we can run the real man’s race, the 100 (meters).” Did the teenage wonder accept Noah’s offer? There’s no obvious information on that. But Speed gained his motivation to dive deep into track and field sports. How?

At ComplexCon, IShowSpeed announced, “2028, I’ll be running in the Olympics for sure. I’ll do the 100 meters… and maybe the 50 meters.Only problem? There’s no 50m dash in the Olympics—but hey, mistakes happen! He quickly caught on and doubled down on his goal to sprint in the men’s 100 meters at the Los Angeles Games. Now, the real question: can he actually pull it off, or will we see him trading the track for a Jake Paul boxing match instead? What do you think—gold medal or gloves?
