In the world of athletics, Noah Lyles is a force to be reckoned with. The 26-year-old sprinter has paved the way for the United States to dominate the Jamaican team at top-tier events. Interestingly, following the end of the season, Noah Lyles is currently using his post-season break to share and influence his expert knowledge to aspirants. On Thursday, Olympian Rori Dunk posted an intriguing video of his fellow athlete Noah Lyles on Twitter, He captioned the post, “World Champion Noah Lyles talks about ‘Good Data’ in training”. In the video, the 26-year-old pro, after clinching multiple accolades this season, dropped his mastery of how athletes and coaches can train more efficiently by utilizing good data. According to Lyles, “Good data is when you can do what is asked of you. If your coach says that he wants you to do a 300m and he wants you to run 80%, run that 80%.”

Further, the World champion added, “Even if you know you can go faster, give what your 80% feels like. Eventually, this will grow and grow, and you start seeing PRs, and your coach will realize maybe that 80% needs to be hyped up to 90%, but only after he can see that you can handle that 80%. This is good and bad data.”

This video comes after the sprinter decided to inspire young athletes in Texas. This week, Noah Lyleas, along with his mother Kiesha Caine, and brother Josephus Lyles, was spotted speaking at a health and wellness event at Desoto High School in Texas. The athlete discussed his story of hard work and success with the young rising athletes and also shared a video of spending quality time with them.

Interestingly, all these efforts to inspire come after Noah Lyles lost the last battle of the season. After standing atop the podium throughout the year, the last trophy was taken by his 27-year-old compatriot Christian Coleman.
