In the short video clip on Instagram, Richardson talks about how affirmation helps her stay motivated. Looking gorgeous, Sha’Carri talked about how she maintains a strict ritual to stay on top of her game, “I look myself in the face every day…and tell myself, you are you and you are enough“.

Sha’Carri Richardson also said that she constantly reminds herself that she is the best at being herself and not letting any criticism get under her skin. She urged her fans to always remember the fact that they are their biggest cheerleaders and there’s no one else who can hype them up better than themselves.

A glorious 2023 leading to the Olympic year
The last year was a career-defining one for Sha’Carri Richardson. After being barred from competing in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics because of a failed dope test, Richardson made a bold statement in 2023 as she outran Shell-Ann Fraser-Pryce to win the gold in the 100m event in Budapest at the World Championships. She also was bestowed with the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Award by the USATF in recognition of her exploits. Accolades came off the tracks as well.
