The first day in Eugene witnessed Jakob running 3:43.73, making history once again with 0.6s away from the world record. 1500m being his forte, he picked up the pace on the 1200m mark itself. The next day, clocking a remarkable 7:23.63, Ingebrigsten clinched the 3000m victory as well. With so many accolades in his name, his personal life had another exciting news.

This Saturday, Ingebrigtsen tied the nuptial knot with his long-term girlfriend, Elizabeth Asserson. With wedding bells ringing right above their heads, the two took vows at the Bragernes Church.
